St. Louis Symphony: Powell Hall

As part of the ambitious and highly anticipated Powell Hall expansion and renovation, frequent collaborators BSI Constructors tapped Gravois Planing Mill to provide key design elements worthy of this cultural cornerstone.

Working closely with BSI, the team provided a number of memorable design elements, including the distinctive rounded doors that serve as part of the bar area, and additional concession stands throughout the space. Casework was provided for instrument storage, as well as for a library area “backstage.” Trim work, handrails, and metal panels were furnished throughout the reimagined area, which contributes to a refreshed and modernized guest experience.
